Google focuses on data innovations for enterprise users at Cloud Next—Launches A New AI Agent.

Goodies for enterprises as google introduce new features to its cloud formation, starting with the launch of a new AI agent, software delivery shield, and other notables

At the Cloud Next conference of October 2022, Google unveiled its capabilities for data cloud management by creating an open extensible data cloud that allows every enterprise to access, and utilize their data from all sources, regardless of their size, format, storage, and style of analysis across all cloud platforms and providers of their choice.

“We’re also releasing new applications and services to put powerful, state-Of-the-art applied Google AI technology in the hands of more data people” said Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud.

As a result of this, many leading companies of various dynamic strengths and the world’s biggest brands are choosing Google cloud with the drive for good results. These companies include the top 10 automotive companies, top 10 retailers, and the top 10 world banks.

Tekopodia, one of the e-commerce companies in Indonesia uses google cloud to deliver hundreds of terabytes of data in 700 milliseconds, Forbes delivers over 5 million software updates to customers automatically, and Home Depot has also been able to save up to 30% of its cloud cost through Google Cloud.

Unstructured Data Support On BigQuery.

Many organizations significantly believe that in the next 3-5 years, data analytics and machine learning will be able to tailor businesses around the cloud network. Since only 26% of organizations are data-driven, which is one of the reasons for unstructured data.

These include videos, images, documents, and audio from call centers. However, BigQuery is a completely serverless and cost-effective enterprise data warehouse with an in-built machine learning and BI that works across all cloud platforms and servers. And also, enables organizations to cover most of their information sources beyond just analyzing structured data from operational databases and software-as-a-service (SaaS)

Support For Major Data Formats.

At the 2022 Cloud Next conference, Google also announced a feature as the Biglake, which will merge the data lake and the warehouse under the management to analyze, govern, search, secure, and share data using BigQuery.

Although, only Apache Iceberg has launched record storage for unstructured data in the preview. It helps to directly run analytics and machine learning on images, documents, audio, and other files using frameworks like SQL and BigQuery.

However, the goal is to extend the practice of securing, governing, and sharing structured data to unstructured, without the need to deploy new ones.

New Apache Spark Integration.

Along with the features to be experienced, announced at the Google cloud next is the integration of BigQuery for Apache Spark.

According to Google, this will be a procedure that will allow data experts to be able to integrate and create more engagement in BigQuery, using Apache Spark, since it resonates with their SQL pipelines – an open-source data analytics machine that copies data from vertical to DataFrames or Spark Resilient Distributed Datasets (RDDs), a fundamental data structure of Spark.

Dataplex Improvement.

As part of the improvement, Google announced Dataplex, which originated to maintain and ensure high data quality in every organization. It is an automated data fabric solution that allows its users to easily understand the lineages of associated data.

Vertex AI Vision.

Google also announced its Vertex AI vision, a single environment created for data practitioners to complete all their ML works from experimentation to deployment, managing, and monitoring the models. However, it allows its user to store and analyze data in a wide range. The end-to-end application provides an easy to use, drag, and drop interface for common task occupancies such as product recognition, product counting, and object detection. It also enables

Looker Expansion.

And the final feature acclaimed at the Cloud Next was the rebranding of the Google data studio. It was announced as a feature that will help enterprises dive through data beyond the data dashboard and fill their workflow with compatible data-driven decisions. The Looker also includes a complete data interface that works with already modeled data in the Looker.

Undoubtedly, the Google Cloud Looker Studio aims to create and offer solutions for enterprises through the Data Studio, deep integrated Looker, and core technologies such as ML and AI.
